You can download a demo version from this website. Download it and try it out. See if it works with your setup. The
demo version will work for 10 minutes and then it needs to be restarted. If you are satisfied with it you can order
the full working version.
Demo version of the 8 Port SE WDM driver. The driver will work for 10 minutes and then needs
to be restarted. The file size is 604 Kb.

8 Port SE DirectMusic Driver Version History
Added an option to tweak the parallel port communication speed.
Fixed a problem where using the driver in combination with Syncrosoft protection
devices could lead to a system crash.
Fixed a problem where only the first instance of a MIDI port would
receive valid system real time messages (multi-client issue).
Fixed a problem with system exclusive messages, for instance apparent when
working with a Mackie Control Universal.
Fixed a problem with handling of system exclusive, sometimes leading to data loss.
Small optimization regarding timestamping of data.
Several optimizations. The driver now uses less system resources.
System exclusive and normal MIDI messages are now handled separately. MIDI messages
will take priority over system exclusive, improving timing when system exclusive
is used extensively.
Fixed some bugs that could cause problems when multiple instances of a port were used, potentially
leading to a BSOD.
Fixed a problem with system exclusive messages of certain sizes. They could cause
data loss and memory corruption, sometimes leading to BSOD's.
Reduced the driver's memory consumption considerably.
Improved the handling of system realtime messages. Although I am not certain if anyone has had
problems with this, it is nice to know that these messages are now handled in accordance with the MIDI
specifications.
Fixed a problem with MIDI running status and active sensing. Version 2.5 did not
solve the problem completely, that's why version 2.6 was released
Solved data corruption problems with system exclusive messages in applications
using the DirectMusic API.
Optimized code, reducing CPU load by 30 to 40 percent.
First version of the DirectMusic driver, implementing multi-client capability
and timestamping of input data.
Introduced PortNamer utility to rename individual ports.
Introduced installer application for easy installing.
